Who You Are:
Role & Responsibilities
  • Masterfully handle client service delivery and high-tier systems or cloud projects.
  • Provide expert escalation resolution and root cause analysis.
  • Excel in client communications, embodying professionalism at every turn.
  • Mentor Tier 1 and Tier 2 engineers, sharing knowledge and fostering growth.
  • Design and manage intricate Windows systems, VMWare, Azure, and Microsoft 365 environments.
  • Lead transformative projects ensuring they deliver on scope and budget.
  • Engage in strategic discussions to help clients grasp technology investments.
  • Craft and uphold our technology best practices and process documentation.
Travel
  • Local (Chicagoland area): up to 50%
  • Nationwide: up to 5%
  • Participate in a rotating on-call schedule
Performance Goals & Expectations:
  • Billable Realization: 75%
  • Knowledge Base Articles: 12 yearly
  • Performance metrics are indicative and supplemented by qualitative evaluations to ensure a fair assessment of contributions.

Desired Skills & Experience
  • 7+ years in Managed Services, Cloud, or Server Engineering/Architecture.
  • Expertise in VMware, Azure, and Microsoft 365.
  • Proficient with SAN/NAS storage technologies and advanced network management.
  • Experience with enterprise messaging and virtualization technologies.
  • Strong background in troubleshooting and technical standards development.
Compensation & Benefits
  • Salary: $85,000 - $120,000, based on experience.
  • Bonus: Eligibility for annual performance-based bonuses.
  • Benefits: Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision; 401(k) with company match; generous PTO and flex time.
  • Work Environment: Primarily remote, with occasional office visits for project-specific work.
